Features: The revised edition of Introduction to Environmental Chemistry has been expanded to 11 chapters. The 1-3 chapters on basic ecology from the first edition have been extended to Chapter 2. A new Chapter 6 on environmental changes and human health has been added. The sixth chapter of the first edition has been divided into Chapter 8 on pollution prevention and environmental protection, and Chapter 9 on environmental quality assessment and environmental analysis and monitoring. A new Chapter 10 on sustainable development and environmental education has been added. Other chapters have also been supplemented in content. The revised edition still focuses on pollution chemistry while appropriately introducing environmental analysis, monitoring, evaluation, pollution prevention, and environmental protection to cater to different audiences. The appendix has been supplemented with some national environmental quality standards for reference.
