Features: The importance of reading in English learning is undeniable. In the "English Curriculum Standards" issued by the Ministry of Education, the significance of reading is placed in a prominent position, with detailed regulations on basic reading skills and reading volume. Through research on recent middle school entrance exams (Zhongkao) and college entrance exams (Gaokao) English papers, it is not difficult to find that the weight of reading has been increasing year by year. This series aims to help students consolidate knowledge learned from textbooks, expand their knowledge base, increase the marginal vocabulary not covered in textbooks but frequently tested, and improve their reading skills and comprehensive English proficiency. The series is compiled in units, aligning with the textbook progress and the ability levels by the "Curriculum Standards" to achieve comprehensive improvement in learning abilities.
