Features: Since the beginning of the 21st century, technological revolutions have rapidly developed. International division of labor, characterized by industrial restructuring, has further deepened. The relationship of both competition and interdependence among countries has grown stronger, and the world economy has been continuously moving towards internationalization, integration, and globalization. Against the backdrop of the continuous development of the world economy, the content and forms of international economic cooperation have also undergone new developments and changes: the cross-border movement of factors of production such as capital, technology, and labor has accelerated, and cooperation has expanded continuously into the capital, production, technology, and service sectors of various countries; the forms of international economic coordination have evolved, with expanding coordination areas and increasing levels of coordination; and new waves of regional economic integration have strengthened economic cooperation among countries within the regions. Since the new century, due to the continuous deepening of China's reform and opening-up, especially after China's accession to the World Trade Organization, China's economy has achieved significant development. Comprehensive cooperation has been carried out with countries in the fields of trade, investment, technology, production, finance, and services. China's economy has been fully integrated into the world economic system, and the degree of economic internationalization has been continuously increasing. In response to the new changes in international economic cooperation and to meet the needs of teaching and research, we have revised the edition of the book "International Economic Cooperation," removing some content and adding and supplementing new content. The revisions are mainly reflected in the following aspects: Chapter 1 has been expanded to include an overview of China's foreign economic cooperation; Chapter 2 has had some content removed and new content added on economic internationalization, integration, and globalization, with theoretical issues of international economic cooperation discussed against this background; the original Chapters 3 and 4 have been merged; the original Chapter 8 has been divided into two parts: international engineering contracting cooperation and international labor cooperation, to adapt to the rapid development of China's foreign engineering contracting and labor cooperation industries. Additionally, revisions and supplements have been made to other chapters. The newly revised second edition of "International Economic Cooperation" consists of 10 chapters and an appendix. The main content includes an overview of international economic cooperation, economic globalization and international economic cooperation, international economic coordination and legal protection, international leasing cooperation, international technology transfer cooperation, international investment cooperation, international credit cooperation, international engineering contracting cooperation, and international development assistance. The book incorporates case studies and includes review questions at the end of each chapter to help readers further analyze and study the issues discussed in the book. In summary, the second edition of "International Economic Cooperation" is more suitable for teaching and research in undergraduate and graduate courses related to international economic trade in terms of structure, content, and workload.
