Features: This exercise book is designed to be used in conjunction with "Mechanical Drawing" compiled by the Engineering Drawing Teaching and Research Office of Dalian University of Technology and edited by Hu Yiming et al. This series of teaching materials is the result of the research project under the "21st Century Education Reform Program for Higher Education" of the Ministry of Education, and is part of the "Nine-Five Plan" teaching materials of the Ministry of Education. This series of teaching materials was developed based on the "Basic Requirements for the Teaching of Descriptive Geometry and Engineering Drawing Courses" issued by the former State Education Commission in 1995, which is applicable to both non-mechanical and mechanical disciplines. It incorporates the research and practical experience of the Mechanical Drawing Teaching Reform Group of our university in teaching reform over six sessions involving 30 classes in the Mechanical Drawing course, as well as the teaching reform experiences of other institutions in the field of drawing courses. The accompanying multimedia courseware "Fundamentals of Projection" and the intelligent electronic exercise book software system for engineering drawing were also developed and published simultaneously by Higher Education Press for readers' use. The aim is to create an environment suitable for independent and creative learning, allowing students to study according to their own preferences. This exercise book has been reviewed and approved by the Editorial Review Meeting of the Teaching Guidance Committee for Engineering Drawing Courses in Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education. It can be used as teaching materials for the Mechanical Drawing course in universities and colleges with 60-80 class hours for near-mechanical and non-mechanical disciplines, as the foundational teaching material for the Mechanical Drawing course in the Mechanical Foundation Series of the Mechanical Department, and also as teaching materials for the Mechanical Drawing course in vocational part-time universities, correspondence universities, television universities, and related disciplines.
