Features: Reading Ouyang Xiu's "Elegy on Autumn Sounds," the verses are so sorrowful and tragic, while Chairman Mao's portrayal of autumn is so enchanting. These two poems often linger in my mind, and I am confused—perhaps it is because fate has given me a sensitive temperament. Going for a walk might provide some answers. Strolling into the park, I see patches of crimson maple forests, so adorable, like the morning sun, radiating light and warmth. "To pause and love the maple forest at dusk, Frost-kissed leaves are redder than flowers in February." I whisper. Oh, autumn is red! It is the harvest season, and the rice in the fields has already ripened. The heavy ears bend the stalks, unable to lift their heads. A gust of wind blows, stirring the rolling waves of rice.
