Features: The joy of traveling in Turkey lies in the continuous surprises, especially when something from the depths of memory is awakened somewhere—such as facing Istanbul, the Trojan Horse, or the ancient city of Ephesus. The geographical and historical significance of Turkey lies in its ability to attract those who truly understand it. Approaching the "Horse Head" was accidental, yet without realizing it, one finds oneself immersed in a gentle ocean—the Black Sea, the Sea of Marmara, the Aegean Sea, the Mediterranean Sea. Countless romantic waves embrace this passionate nation. The more one feels Turkey through the lens, the less clear its beautiful, almost illusory layers become. Those majestic and opulent old palaces, the sacred yet cold cathedrals, and the solemn mosques that treat people with reverence all speak of solemnity and inviolability through their distinct angles and lines, though they are merely a cycle of solemnity from one dynasty to another. Walking among the mundane world of the people, one can also constantly sense this sense of solemnity. More often, the author uses the lens to discover and record, but Turkey taught the author to be moved by the lens—moved by the country's inclusiveness; moved by the peaceful coexistence of Turks, Kurds, Armenians, and many other groups living in the country; moved by the lines and colors they meticulously create; moved by the historical remnants, the wonders of nature, and the fusion with the modern world.
