Features: This book is one of the classic calligraphy copybooks, including nine ink rubbings such as "Pingfu" (Restoring Peace), "Boyuan" (To Bo Yuan), "Buxiang Reading" (Buxiang Reading), "Zhanghan" (Zhanghan), "Mengdeng" (Dreaming of Dying), "Shangyang Yi" (Shangyang One), "Shenxian Jujifa" (Immortal's Daily Exercise), and "Jiuhua" (Garlic Flower). This book is in an enlarged format, which greatly helps numerous calligraphy learners to clearly grasp the structure of the original script, brush techniques, ink density, and other characteristics. "Pingfu" was written by Lu Ji, a famous litterateur of the Western Jin Dynasty. Due to the phrase "[Gong Nan Pingfu]" in the script, it is also known as "Ping Zhu Fu". This script has nine lines and 84 characters, with round and vigorous brushwork and lively brush intent. It is one of the earliest genuine works by famous calligraphers in China. "Boyuan" was written by Wang Xun, the nephew of Wang Xizhi. Wang Xun was renowned for his running script. His calligraphy is elegant and ancient. Because the script contains the characters "[Bo Yuan]", it is named "Boyuan". It is a rare treasure of the Eastern Jin Dynasty and is listed as one of the "Sanxi Tang Calligraphy Series". There are only four ink rubbings by the famous Tang Dynasty calligrapher Ou Yangxun, and "Buxiang Reading", "Zhanghan", and "Mengdeng" are three of them. "Shangyang Tai" is believed to be the only surviving ink rubbing by Li Bai, the famous Tang Dynasty poet. This script has a natural and unrestrained brushwork and a vigorous brush intent. "On Calligraphy" is a cursive script by Huai Su. It has nine lines and 85 characters. Yang Ningshi, a famous calligrapher of the Five Dynasties, styled Jingdu, was from Huayin. "Jiuhua" is his running script with regular and elegant calligraphy, with a free and unrestrained spirit and a large spacing between characters and lines, unprecedented in history. His cursive script "Shenxian Jujifa" has eight lines and eighty-five characters. The script is extraordinary and unrestrained, like horizontal wind and slanting rain, flowing in one breath. The script is stamped with over 120 seals of historical figures such as Zhao Gou and Zhao Mengfu, truly a renowned and famous ink rubbing.
