Part 2, on the organization, querying, and classification summarization analysis of economic management data, is composed of Chapters 2 and 3, which mainly introduce the basic concepts of databases, methods of data querying using Microsoft Query, four data classification summarization analysis methods, the application methods of pivot tables and D functions, and methods for generating time series. Part 3, on time series forecasting and regression analysis in economic management data, consists of Chapters 4 and 5, which mainly introduce the concept and composition of time series, methods for establishing various time series forecasting models, indicators for measuring forecasting accuracy, the basic principles of regression analysis, including the statistical testing of regression models, the use of regression analysis tools such as Solver and regression analysis reports, and methods for analyzing univariate and multivariate linear regression problems as well as nonlinear regression problems. Part 4, on the analysis of economic management decision models, is composed of Chapters 6, 7, and 8, which mainly introduce decision-making analysis methods for cost models such as break-even analysis, cost decision analysis, and economic order quantity analysis, the concept and solution methods of optimization problems, modeling methods for linear and nonlinear programming problems and other common planning problems, the establishment of investment decision models based on net present value, the establishment of project investment evaluation models and investment risk analysis models. Part 5, on the simulation analysis of economic management data, which is Chapter 9, simulation models, mainly introduces the basic steps of the simulation process, methods for generating random numbers and analyzing simulation results, the establishment and risk analysis of Monte Carlo simulation models, and the establishment of activity scanning system simulation models, represented by inventory simulation. This book can serve as a textbook for undergraduate, graduate, and MBA students in economic management majors taking courses on information technology applications, quantitative methods in management, and management models and decision-making. It can also be used as a reference for economic management personnel to solve problems related to data processing, forecasting analysis, decision-making modeling, and decision-making simulation.
