Features: Opera is a comprehensive art form that combines various artistic disciplines. When people enjoy opera, the essence of it remains the appreciation of music, especially the art of singing. Many classic arias from operas have already been published for people to study, perform, appreciate, and contemplate. However, as an indispensable part of opera singing—ensemble pieces—the compilation and publication of their scores have not received the attention they deserve. As a result, there are almost no specialized collections of opera ensembles available in China, and they are rare even abroad. This series, "Foreign Opera Ensemble Pieces," is divided into five volumes, categorized by language. Volumes , , and are Italian operas, Volume is French opera, and Volume includes operas from countries such as Germany, Austria, and Russia. All the pieces are selected from classic operas and feature different combinations of male and female voices in two or more parts. These pieces can be performed in concerts and also serve as teaching materials for vocal learners of various levels.
