Features: Over the past few years, students, teachers, and professional players have often asked me to write a method book that allows students to progress step by step in accordion playing. It seems that there is a common opinion among teachers that most methods do not provide detailed stages of progression. Therefore, the lessons in this book are arranged in a practical and logical order, including all the key points of gradual progression. Students can only make progress by diligently practicing each lesson before moving on to the next. To play the accordion well, one must use both hands and brain—there is no other way. The bass clef is now commonly used for the left hand and has become the standard method. Representing a chord with a single note is clearer for beginners. As students become familiar with the bass clef and learn chord inversions in double clef, they will not find it difficult to read chords with three notes in the bass clef and four-note chords (as in piano notation).
