Features: "The Vocal Music Teaching Collection" is one of the series of "Vocal Art Education Series" published successively by the People's Music Publishing House. This marks the beginning of a new journey in the construction of teaching repertoire for vocal art education in China. The four volumes of "Chinese Art Songs" encompass almost a century of artistic creations from the 1920s to the late 1990s. Volume 4 includes works before the founding of the People's Republic of China, while Volumes 5, 6, and 7 cover works after its founding. It not only reflects the era's characteristics during certain historical periods but also records the artistic features of songs from different times, providing a wealth of well-tested repertoire for vocal teaching. In the selection process, we equally value the long-standing historical background and characteristics of the works, while placing greater emphasis on highlighting the teaching significance of the repertoire.
