Features: Wuthering Heights is a brilliant and genius work by the renowned British author Emily Bront?. The entire setting is a closed small society—two isolated manors and the open vast nature and moors. The characters in the book embody two extremes: love and hatred. Extreme love is intertwined with extreme hatred. This book depicts the story of Gypsy orphan Heathcliff, who is adopted by the old master of the manor. Due to humiliation and failed love, he leaves to become wealthy and returns to take revenge on the landlord who married his beloved Catherine and his children. The entire narrative is filled with a strong spirit of fighting against oppression and striving for happiness, yet it is always shrouded in a mysterious and tense romantic atmosphere. Initially, it was regarded as the naive fantasy of a female writer detached from reality. However, when combined with the intense class struggle in the region it depicts and the social phenomena of Britain, it is recognized as a profound work.
