These editorial enhancements are beneficial for copying, creation, and research.
Wu Junqing (1842–1927) was a renowned modern calligrapher, seal carver, and painter. His original name was Jun, and he was also known as Cangshi, Changshuo, Fu, and by other names such as Kufei, Pohe, and Dalengren. He was from Anji, Zhejiang. His paintings incorporated calligraphic brushwork, displaying a powerful and vigorous style; his seal carving used blunt tools, creating a classic charm; and his calligraphy emphasized brushwork, reaching a level of perfection. His style had a significant impact on modern calligraphy.
Selected Letters and Notes is a paper-bound album with fifty-seven pages. Many of the poems and letters are hand-drawn by Master Fu. Due to the diverse original sizes of the pages, not all character examples are included in the enlargements.
