Features: With the development of the socialist market economy, changes in people's dietary and clothing preferences, and the implementation of the spirit of vigorously developing grass-fed livestock as emphasized in the 1995 Guangxi Provincial Animal Husbandry Work Conference, the goat industry in Guangxi experienced rapid growth. The number of goats in Guangxi increased from 636,200 at the end of 1986 to 1,421,600 at the end of 1995. The continuous development of production urgently required scientific and technological guidance. The book Goat Rearing, which I compiled and published in 1987, played a certain guiding role in the development of the goat industry in Guangxi. However, after more than ten years of practical application of the book in production across various regions of Guangxi, I still felt that some practical techniques needed to be revised and supplemented to better meet the evolving needs of the goat industry in Guangxi. Therefore, I have revised and republished the book, changing the title to High-Yield Goat Rearing Technology. The revised edition has been included in the Guangxi Grass-Fed Livestock Practical Technology Series by the Guangxi Society of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine and the Guangxi Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Bureau.
