Analysis of Yan Style Regular Script is based on the representative work Yan Qinli Stele by the renowned Tang Dynasty calligrapher Yan Zhenqing. It analyzes and explains the calligrapher's artistic characteristics, stroke techniques, structural composition, and layout in four aspects.
The content of this book is divided into four parts: First, it analyzes the calligrapher's artistic style and masterpieces. Second, it selects representative examples from the stele to explain stroke techniques and their characteristics. The stroke features of Yan-style characters are analyzed and explained in terms of starting points, ending points, strokes, and turns. Finally, precise and appropriate language is used to describe their features.
