Norma or endless exile

Publish Date: 2002-06-01
Features: This book includes two of the author's long novels. Winter in Venice features a lively love life as its main thread, supplemented by suspenseful and thrilling stories, portraying the diverse characters in the modern life of the ancient city of Venice and presenting a colorful social customs scroll. Norma or Endless Exile embodies the two themes cherished by the author—love and exile. It describes the romantic entanglements between high school teacher Xavier and three different women, as well as the moving story of Norma, a devoted woman who sacrifices herself heroically to protect her husband, the Argentine exiled scholar Reyes, from imprisonment.
