Features: Over the past four years, South Korea has annually compiled winning entries from architectural design competitions into annual volumes titled "South Korean Architectural Design Competition Yearbook." The "2002 South Korean Architectural Design Competition Yearbook" is divided into two volumes, featuring 165 winning designs from 84 projects. It represents the culmination of all outstanding design competition works in South Korea in 2001, covering a wide range of topics from landscape planning to single-building design, from large public facilities to small thematic structures, and from new construction projects to expansion projects, reflecting the highest level of South Korean architectural design for that year. The selected designs are all award-winning entries from the first, second, and third prizes, with each project elaborated on from aspects such as overall planning, facade design, floor plan design, interior design, and environmental design to explain their creative concepts, design philosophies, and key features. This aims to enable readers to gain insights into the diverse interpretations and solutions of South Korean architects on various themes through comparison and analysis.
