Features: Since engaging in historical fiction writing for over two decades, I have accumulated numerous works, with countless words. To be honest, even I am not entirely clear about the exact number. Roughly speaking, I have published over sixty books; in terms of word count, I average three thousand words per day, resulting in one million words annually. Conservatively estimated, I have at least twenty-five million words in total. The phrase "a body of work as vast as one's own height" feels well-deserved. With five thousand years of history and an ocean of historical facts, my novel themes are always inexhaustible. What's more gratifying is that readers from all over the world in the Chinese-speaking community can be found everywhere. Some readers' generous praise and earnest encouragement fill me with a mix of gratitude and humility. At sixty-five, perhaps it's due to my open-mindedness toward life; more importantly, I am fortunate to live in a free and abundant environment, so both mentally and physically, I feel far from aging. My partnership with the pen is expected to last for many more years. However, in the future, my literary career will involve both creating new works and editing old manuscripts. New standalone novels will only be published by two companies: Lianjing Publishing and Horizon Publishing. The beginning of my collaboration with Horizon Publishing is a significant milestone in my creative journey, and it has been an incredibly pleasant experience. I take the time to share a few words with my readers. Gao Yang, whose real name is Xu Yanping, was a renowned Taiwanese writer from Hangzhou, Zhejiang. He was skilled in historical research and often referred to himself as the "Wild Scholar." The findings from his research were used not only to critique and supplement historical records but also to inspire his historical fiction. As a result, he made many astonishing discoveries in history and achieved remarkable success in literature. His historical novels, such as The Trilogy of Hu Xuyan, and his scholarly work, The Emperors of the Qing Dynasty, are truly awe-inspiring!
