Features: "The Trilogy of the Times" is a long novel masterpiece meticulously crafted by young writer Liu Jianwei over a span of thirteen years, presenting a panoramic depiction of contemporary Chinese life. It includes "Northern City Walls," "Breaking Through the Encirclement," and "Era of Heroes." Each of the three works portrays different aspects of modern China—political life, military life, and economic life—much like a "River Scene at Qingming Festival," offering an in-depth portrayal of the vast social life from the capital to the rural areas. The works feature a grand structure, intricate plots, and numerous highly typical characters, embodying a strong sense of realism and a sense of urgency. They have formed a somber and profound artistic style.
