Features: This collection covers a wide range of content, including general reviews, studies on works (which further includes critiques, interpretations, and discussions of authenticity), biographical accounts and evaluations, as well as lyrical compositions inspired by him. For materials with similar viewpoints or those that follow one another, we generally adopt a policy of inclusion with appropriate in the text. For instance, regarding Li Bai's place of origin, the circumstances of 《The Hard Road to Shu》, and the issue of Cong Lin, the varied interpretations throughout history do not necessarily require new insights but help us understand which generations and individuals held which views. Similarly, for the question of whether Li Bai's exile reached Yelang, where few opinions exist, such materials hold greater reference value. Credibility is not the standard for including materials. For example, regarding the mutual rescue and drowning of Li Bai and Guo Wei, while modern scholars dismiss it as baseless, it was widely believed by predecessors, and understanding this is essential. Additionally, it should be noted that countless poems have been composed throughout history in praise of Li Bai. These works extensively explore perceptions of his thoughts, character, experiences, and wounds, even if they merely express admiration, they reveal Li Bai's historical influence. Therefore, we have included a significant number of such compositions. In summary, we believe that for a poet as legendary in life and death as Li Bai, whose works often spark controversy, a broader scope of material inclusion is necessary to comprehensively reflect how predecessors perceived and evaluated him.
