Features: When we delve into the world of insects, we discover that they are not only the most successful inhabitants on Earth but also possess lives filled with drama and wonder. This collection of one hundred outstanding online photographs offers one hundred poetic perspectives for understanding them. We believe these works can change your perception of insects, sparking a strong interest and deep respect for them. Li Yuansheng is both a poet and an insect enthusiast. He insists on not identifying himself as an insect photographer because his photographic works stem from personal hobby rather than a study of insect species or anatomy, but rather an interest in the beauty presented in their activities. Beauty moved Li Yuansheng. In the book, he writes: "Good insect photographs are more important than extraordinary poses or more enchanting expressions, as they reveal the beauty and poetry of insect survival." He uses extensive elegant words to describe his shooting process and mindset, distinguishing the insect world through the eyes of a poet from an ordinary science popularization book. From a certain perspective, this is more like a collection of lyrical essays.
