Features: Returning to the topic of "Crisis Communication." As a collection of personal research series, I once considered using the title "Crisis Management" to echo the previous "Issue Management," and planned to include the three research orientations of crisis management—strategic management, public relations, and rhetorical criticism—in the discussion. Later, I found that incorporating the perspectives of the management school and expanding the scope would make the structure overly complex and lose the book's core focus on crisis communication. After careful consideration, I decided to narrow the scope of integration, focusing only on public relations and rhetorical criticism to conduct a more detailed examination of these research perspectives. The research cases in this book are completed research projects over the years, while many of the literature materials were collected during a three-month study program at San Diego State University in the United States this summer. As for the overall structure of the book, it was finalized after multiple major revisions over the past six months.
