Features: The College English Test Band 4 (CET-4) is an achievement test. Achievement tests have the advantages of strong scientific rigor in question design, high reliability, and validity. However, achievement tests also have their disadvantages: many fixed question types and patterns are present in the questions. In reality, one test paper is essentially a specific and revised version of these fixed question types and patterns. If you practice a large number of questions and identify the patterns of question setting, it is easy to overcome the difficulties of the CET-4, and many students can even score higher than their actual abilities. The CET-4 is very similar to the TOEFL exam abroad, as both are achievement tests. Many Chinese students who are not very proficient in English can score relatively high after doing a certain amount of TOEFL practice papers. It is not unusual for them to score 600 or more on the TOEFL exam in China. The same principle applies to the CET-4—studying past papers is a shortcut. Currently, there are dozens of versions of books containing past real exam papers. Based on a comprehensive review of these books, we have done extensive work to develop the unique features of this book:
1. Answer Verification Some students may ask: Is it even a problem if the answers are wrong? Let’s be honest and tell you that based on the information we have collected, it is difficult to find a single book without incorrect answers among the many available—some of which are quite famous. Many students are confused by wrong answers and annotations after completing the questions.
