[Commentators praised his brushwork, describing it as "floating like clouds and startling like a startled dragon"]. He was one of the most outstanding calligraphers in ancient China, and his calligraphic art had a profound influence. Among calligraphers, few could compare to him, earning him the title of [Sage of Calligraphy].
