Features: This "Rules" is translated from the revised Volleyball Competition Rules of the International Volleyball Federation (2005-2008) (text from the official website of the FIVB as of December 2005), approved by the Chinese Volleyball Association, and implemented in all levels of volleyball competitions across the country. The provisions printed in bold in the text that concern "FIVB World Championships" are mandatory for international competitions. To help improve the English proficiency of volleyball professionals, this "Rules" includes the full text of the English version of the Volleyball Competition Rules in the appendix. To enable volleyball players, coaches, especially referees, to better understand the spirit of the rules and master the standards of officiating, this rule also includes the "Volleyball Referee On-Court Case Studies" revised by the FIVB Rules Committee in 2005 for reference.
