Teaching Platform ABC for Tennis is not a book exclusively for professional tennis players, nor is it a general popular science text. It is designed for university students who are about to engage in tennis. The teaching platform in the book is inspired by the US Tennis Association's Network 7 grading standards and has been adapted to China's context and the characteristics of university students, resulting in five platforms. Through reading and learning, it will help students assess their own level. The book intersperses knowledge windows, menus, and vivid illustrations, aiming to deepen students' understanding of tennis culture while allowing them to enjoy the sport and master its fundamental knowledge and skills. By engaging in activities, students can appreciate the culture, and through exercise, they can develop their techniques, striving to reach the 4th-grade platform level. Tennis is a lifelong physical activity and an ideal sport for you, especially for urban university students and white-collar workers who lead busy lives, face academic and work pressures, and lack regular exercise. If you can dedicate some time to running, swinging, and jumping on a tennis court, stretching your limbs and exercising your brain, you will soon find the answer. This will undoubtedly benefit your health.
