Features: Mr. Gao Min's significant achievements in historical research are inseparable from his rigorous and earnest academic attitude. In his historical studies, Mr. Gao conducted meticulous research, provided substantial arguments, presented profound insights, and demonstrated strong logical reasoning. He not only paid attention to extensively collecting and mastering historical materials but also placed greater emphasis on the application and analysis of theory. Many of his works adhere to the fundamental principles of historical materialism and employ dialectical methods to analyze and examine historical political, economic, and military systems. By tracing their origins and exploring their evolution, he revealed the historical conditions and developmental patterns that led to their formation, establishment, growth, and eventual decline. Due to his adherence to the principle of basing arguments on historical evidence and maintaining a realistic approach to historical research, as well as his dedication to exploring the intrinsic laws of historical development, his elucidations of historical issues are comprehensive, his arguments are incisive, and his profound insights shine through the pages. The conclusions he draws are convincing, and his works not only provide valuable insights into specific issues but also offer beneficial inspiration in terms of academic methodology. Mr. Gao Min is not only a renowned contemporary historian but also a distinguished educator. He is loyal to the Party and the people's educational cause, consistently upholding the Party's educational policies, teaching and nurturing students through both words and actions, and contributing to the cultivation of generations of high-level teaching and research talents. Over more than 40 years of teaching, he has meticulously nurtured numerous outstanding educators and researchers, making significant contributions to the Party and the people's educational cause. He has been honored as a National Expert with Outstanding Contributions, a Labor Model of the National Education System, and one of the first Outstanding Experts of Henan Province, and enjoys special subsidies from the State Council. Although Mr. Gao has reached the age of 70, he remains vigorous and continues to write. Several of his major works, including Studies on the Military System of the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, Explorations in the History of the Qin and Han Dynasties, Intriguing Discoveries in the History of the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, A Collection of Reflections, Glimpses of the Southern History, and Glimpses of the Northern History, are scheduled for publication in the near future. An Initial Exploration of the Yungmeng Qin Bamboo Slips will also be republished by a publisher in Taiwan. Here, we once again sincerely wish Mr. Gao Min good health and longevity, and hope that he will continue to make greater contributions to the Party and the people's educational and scientific endeavors.
