Bush became the President of the United States after numerous struggles and even resorting to the Supreme Court for a vote, in his new book "Decision Points," the sitting President confidently and effortlessly narrates his journey from an average but hardworking high school student to Yale University, making the right choices at pivotal moments in his life, gradually growing, and ultimately becoming the President of the United States. The book is filled with the joys and frustrations of his growth, as well as the family love and stories in his life. The Bush family is a politically influential household, and during his elementary and high school years, the influence of the teachers and uncles he admired led to two lifelong interests: a deep passion for history and baseball. After graduating from college, driven by his dream of becoming a pilot, he underwent 55 weeks of training in the Air National Guard and became a pilot. After retiring, he attended Harvard Business School and worked in oil extraction. At the age of 32, perhaps influenced by the family's political culture, he and his brothers began campaigning for Congress. After that, he devoted himself with great enthusiasm to matters in Texas. When he was 46 and still an unknown baseball team captain, he almost in despair told his wife, Laura, on the night of May 1, 1993, "I have an idea. I want to run for governor." Thereafter, he endured the trials and tribulations of a crucible, raising funds, campaigning, and traveling for speeches. In 1994, he finally defeated the highly respected incumbent governor, becoming the youngest governor in Texas history and embarking on his political career. When he launched his campaign for the presidency, he was already well-prepared and, in the end, he fulfilled the old saying: "Anything the people of Texas can dream of, they can do."
