Features: The Standard Japanese Course for Chinese-Japanese Exchange is the only set of teaching materials in China that is aligned with the "Japanese Language Proficiency Test." It has a vast readership and is highly regarded by universities, research institutions, training centers, and national authoritative examination departments. Many graduate supervisors also list it as a recommended textbook for exams. In recent years, some Japanese language experts have written supplementary guides around The Standard Japanese Course for Chinese-Japanese Exchange, but their content is either disconnected from the textbook or has a similar format but significant discrepancies in content, making it inconvenient for beginners to refer to. As an educator promoting the popularization and dissemination of Japanese language education, over the past decade, I have consistently used The Standard Japanese Course for Chinese-Japanese Exchange as a "research subject" and "exclusive textbook." To facilitate students' learning and memorization, the authors meticulously crafted a "Lesson-Specific Vocabulary Analysis" exclusively for their students, which has been well-received by them. As the number of students has grown, so has the demand for it. To meet the needs of a broader readership, the authors decided to compile and publish it for the readers. The vocabulary analysis is divided into two volumes: Elementary and Intermediate, corresponding to the Elementary and Intermediate levels of The Standard Japanese Course for Chinese-Japanese Exchange. The elementary volume covers the basic vocabulary required for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 4 and Level 3, sponsored by the Japan Foundation. The intermediate volume covers the basic vocabulary required for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 2, sponsored by the Japan Foundation. The vocabulary analysis is primarily based on the original book's definitions but has been adjusted in some aspects to reflect the actual trends of the Japan Foundation's Japanese Language Proficiency Test in recent years. To ensure the authority of the vocabulary analysis, the authors referred to authoritative reference books such as The New Japanese Dictionary, Common Japanese Phrases Dictionary, Common Japanese Language Dictionary, and Detailed Japanese-Chinese Dictionary, among others published in Japan and China. This book has the following features:
■ Strong targeting. In terms of format, the book adopts a "lesson-specific synchronous analysis" approach, explaining each word and lesson individually, making it easy for readers to compare with the original book.
■ Emphasis on key points. The book covers all vocabulary points in the Elementary and Intermediate levels (Level 4, Level 3, and Level 2) of The Standard Japanese Course for Chinese-Japanese Exchange, helping various Japanese language candidates strengthen their exam preparation.
■ Predictive strength. Since this book is the crystallization of the authors' years of teaching experience and is designed based on a thorough understanding of the patterns of Japanese language question-setting, every selection is carefully curated, making it sufficient for candidates preparing for the same level of exams.
