To ensure the smooth progress of the reforms in the National Tour Guide Qualification Examination and to improve the professional quality of tour guides, our publishing house, based on the long-standing "National Tour Guide Qualification Examination Series Textbooks," consulted with leaders from tourism bureaus in various provinces and cities involved in tour guide training and examination, organized a group of experts and scholars with extensive experience in tour guide training and question setting, and established the National Tour Guide Qualification Examination Textbook Writing Group to rewrite the "National Tour Guide Qualification Examination (National Part) Series Textbooks." This series of textbooks embodies the reform spirit of the National Tourism Administration, fully considers the current state of tour guide training and examination work in China, carefully summarizes the experience of tour guide work in China, and emphasizes the comprehensiveness, authority, and practicality of knowledge. It serves as both the training textbook for the National Tour Guide Qualification Examination (National Part) and is also suitable for use by faculty and students of tour guide majors in tourism colleges and universities.
