Features: This textbook is divided into three parts: Introduction, Part 1, and Part 2. The Introduction focuses on the origin, development, and academic characteristics of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), compares TCM and Western medicine, adds new content, and looks ahead to the future development of TCM academic studies. Part 1 is the foundational section, consisting of 10 chapters: Yin-Yang and Five Elements Theory, Zang-Xiang (Organ Manifestations), Meridians and Collaterals, Etiology and Pathogenesis, Diagnostic Methods, Pattern Differentiation, Treatment Principles and Methods, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Formulas and Decoctions, and Acupuncture and Moxibustion. Among these, Zang-Xiang and Diagnostic Methods have been enriched with content, providing a comprehensive and systematic introduction to the fundamental theories of TCM and acupuncture knowledge and skills. Part 2 is the clinical section, divided into 4 chapters: Internal Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology, and Pediatrics. To better adapt to new health laws and regulations, single and empirical formulas and other therapies from the first edition's disease chapters have been removed, while acupuncture therapy has been retained and some common disease conditions have been appropriately added.
