Features: This is a book about the internal management of diversified large corporate groups. The diversification of corporate groups should be based on core capabilities and extended outward. Diversification must have a core business or main business; without a well-managed main business with stable and significant revenue, it is impossible to pursue other businesses. In the current knowledge economy era, large corporate groups should focus on the development, utilization, protection, and management of intellectual property rights and intangible assets, treating knowledge management as the highest, most important, and most core management activity of the enterprise. The asset management of diversified groups involves the continuous process of "abandoning the old and embracing the new," closely monitoring asset quality, identifying non-performing assets, and disposing of them according to different circumstances, such as transfer, liquidation, bankruptcy, etc. The content of this book is divided into three parts: The first part discusses the overall aspects of corporate groups, including the parent-subsidiary system of the group and its internal management structure, as well as the diversification operations of the group company. The parent-subsidiary system tied by capital is the basic characteristic of the group. The second part is the main theme of this book—the internal management of diversified large corporate groups. Here, the issues related to internal management are discussed in detail from three aspects. The third part covers the content of group strategic management and strategic adjustments.
