Features: The rock paintings on Table Mountain are located within the jurisdiction of Wuhai City. To date, five sites have been discovered: Zhao Shao Rock Paintings, Kuchaigou Rock Paintings, Subaiyin Hougou Rock Paintings, and Houmolgou Rock Paintings, among which the Zhao Shao Rock Paintings are the most renowned. The Zhao Shao Rock Paintings are cultural relics of the nomadic peoples in northern China during the Bronze Age. In 1986, they were listed as key cultural relic protection units by the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Over 10 identifiable figures have been unearthed, with the carvings on relatively gentle limestone slopes. Most depict human faces with various expressions and sun god motifs. Among the more than 100 relatively clear images discovered, the content primarily includes human face figures, animal graphics, and scenes of people hunting. There are also some strange patterns. The brushwork is rustic, and the figures are exaggerated, with human face images often featuring four eyes and double eyebrows. The rock paintings on Table Mountain are one of the important tourist attractions in Wuhai City.
