Fortunately, Huang Shaoyin, who has gathered extensive firsthand materials on "collecting gems" and collected over 100 series of "China's Gems" books during his interviews, struck a chord with Dai Xiaolong, the general manager of Menghu Treasure Collection Company, who has also created numerous "collecting gems." Together with Wu Daoming, the executive secretary of the Sichuan Collecting Association, and with the enthusiastic support of Lü Qi, the executive president of the Sichuan Collecting Association, as well as guidance from Shi Shuqing, the president of the China Collecting Association, and An Jiuliang, the secretary of the Beijing East Collecting Association, they hired over a dozen renowned cultural relic and collecting experts as consultants. After more than two years of arduous effort, the first edition of China's Collecting Gems has finally been presented to the. The book collects 495 "gems," with over 200,000 words. It is divided into five major chapters: General Theory, Collectibles, Figures, Museums, and Appendices, covering more than 10 categories such as antiques, calligraphy and paintings, iron coins, stamps, tickets, cigarette labels and firecracker wrappers, commemorative badges, newspapers, books, and imitation ancient artifacts. The book includes 129 photos of collectibles and an appendix listing more than 1,000 private periodicals across the country and the membership list of the Sichuan Collecting Association.
