Samsung Kingdom - Lee Byung-chul Era

Features: Lee Byung-chul grew up in a unique environment and received special education. He possesses outstanding qualities, and even with our current knowledge, it is impossible to truly understand him. What we lack is not the "facts" about him or research into his private life, but rather rational analysis and understanding of him. This book is an attempt to comprehensively and rationally analyze Samsung Group and Lee Byung-chul. The main text of the book consists of five chapters, discussing aspects such as Lee Byung-chul himself, his business philosophy, his leadership style, and his relationship with South Korea and its society. The most valuable part of the book is that the author provides us with many real facts about Samsung, including some negative "exposé" content. It is extremely rare for us to gain such insight into Samsung, its leader, and the various relationships and governance structures both inside and outside the company. Regarding The Samsung Kingdom, my post-reading evaluation is just four words: thought-provoking. I believe all Chinese entrepreneurs preparing to achieve dominance should read it and reflect on themselves through Lee Byung-chul and Samsung. Lee Byung-chul is the second generation inheritor of the Samsung Kingdom. After the family legacy passed to him, not only did Samsung's business not decline, but it continued to flourish. So, who exactly is Lee Byung-chul? What unique qualities and methods set him apart from others? Is Korean society highly accepting of this company? These are the questions we particularly want to know and learn from. However, Lee Byung-chul himself keeps his cards close to his chest and rarely appears in public. The inner workings of the Lee family are even more unknown to us. This book actually lifts the curtain behind the scenes, giving us a glimpse of a more multifaceted Lee Byung-chul and Samsung.
