Features: The medical science of our motherland is a great treasure trove. For thousands of years, it has played a significant role in enhancing the health of the people. To inherit and explore the heritage of our motherland's medical science, develop our health services, and popularize the knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) among the masses, we have published this book, "Thousand Family Wonderful Formulas." This book was compiled by military doctors from the Beijing Command Hospital of the Construction Engineering Corps, such as Li Wenliang and Qi Qiang from Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and includes nearly 1,100 effective TCM prescriptions for treating various common and difficult diseases. These prescriptions are accompanied by TCM syndrome differentiation, treatment principles, clinical effects, and explanations. In the clinical effects section, detailed introductions are provided for typical cases, including clear modern medical diagnoses and records of TCM and Western medical examinations (including special tests like laboratory tests and X-rays). In the appendix at the end of the book, there are references such as "Adaptable Medication Usage," "Modern Pharmacological Research on Common TCM Herbs," and "Common TCM Herb Aliases." This book is rich in content and easy to understand, making it suitable not only as a reference for medical and TCM professionals at all levels but also for people with junior high school or higher education to read and apply. For patients who have been diagnosed, this book can be used to select prescriptions for self-treatment. "Thousand Family Wonderful Formulas" is divided into two volumes. The first volume covers internal medicine, while the second volume includes surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, ophthalmology and otolaryngology, syndromes, oncology, and an appendix. This book was reviewed by Professor Liu Duzhou, a council member of the Chinese Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CATCM) and a professor at Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Associate Professor Chen Shusen, a council member of CATCM and head of the TCM department at the General Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. Additionally, Professor Ren Yingqiu, vice president of CATCM, a member of the Medical Evaluation Committee of the State Council Academic Degrees Commission, and a professor at Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, wrote a preface for the book and contributed the title.
