Features: Vocabulary is the cornerstone of language learning. Traditionally, students' methods of memorizing words are not only dull but also highly inefficient. Many words are painstakingly memorized yet remain confusing when used. In light of this, we want to introduce a new method of vocabulary learning. By linking seemingly unrelated words together with some witty and humorous short stories, we have developed a vocabulary learning method: we first provide a story, followed by a list of vocabulary. This approach is not only simple and convenient but also highly engaging. Theoretically, memorizing stories is easier than memorizing words because stories have a certain developmental thread, leading to richer associations. This is precisely the theoretical foundation for our series of story-based vocabulary learning materials. During the process of writing these short stories, we discovered that originally dull words can become lively and endearing, and that monotonous learning can also be transformed into something vivid and enjoyable. This reminded us of the story of Christopher Columbus: breaking an egg to stand it on a table. It turns out that there are no insurmountable challenges in the world—only whether we can find the key to overcome them. Story-based vocabulary learning is the key we have prepared to help you conquer the challenges of vocabulary.
