Features: Mao Zedong loved mountains throughout his life. The life and pursuits of Mao Zedong were like a towering mountain, admired by thousands and interpreted for ages. Mao Zedong was born in Shaoshan, launched his revolution in Jinggangshan, and fought battles at Baotaishan. However, what Mao Zedong could not forget in his life was Lushan, and it remains a mystery to the world, sparking various interpretations. The author of this book takes Mao Zedong's four visits to Lushan as the main thread, seeking nearly one hundred witnesses to major historical events in the People's Republic or those who worked closely with the leaders and celebrities. Following the memories of history, the author vividly portrays the unique charm of the contemporary chapters embedded in the profound historical and cultural heritage of Lushan, fully displaying the diverse figures who appeared on the political stage of Lushan, including leaders and common people, celebrities and ordinary citizens, scientists and laborers, foreign friends and local residents. These trivial and ordinary matters have become history through the passage of time. The book is filled with numerous precious photographs, most of which come from the collections of ordinary people. These yellowed, aged old photographs, together with the memories buried in their hearts, are presented to a wide readership.
