Features: Based on summarizing the experience of our hospital residents' standardized training over the past decade. In 1999, we officially published the book "Beijing Medical University Hospital Residents' Standardized Training." After its publication, it significantly promoted the standardized training work of our hospital residents. Many provincial, municipal, and autonomous regional health departments (bureaus) and colleagues from sister institutions drew inspiration from this book, greatly assisting in advancing their own standardized training efforts. The book achieved good social benefits. To adapt to the evolving landscape of medical education, we specifically invited experts from relevant disciplines to revise and update it this year, with a focus on enriching the content of the second stage of standardized training for hospital residents, aiming to further improve the training quality.
