Features: A group of American high school students, at least for now, have no intention of writing a book, yet they collectively authored this book. It is an essay collection telling the story of their fundraising efforts. The students participating in the China Yunnan aid project wrote about their personal experiences and genuine feelings, which were published by China Children's Press and released simultaneously in China and the United States—a truly meaningful event. The publication of this book adds a colorful flower to the garden of Sino-U.S. cultural exchange. The book is bilingual, with Chinese and English versions, allowing the students to serve as both authors and translators, which can be seen as a comprehensive test of their Chinese and English writing skills. Although their Chinese translations still show some immaturity, as they are filled with genuine emotions, they remain highly readable. The stories in the book are not unfamiliar to us, but as we re-examine the entire project through their essays, we are often moved by their experiences and even brought to tears. This book holds significant value in many aspects, and we are therefore very pleased to recommend it to readers.
