Features: This book is a supplementary textbook for BEC2 "New Cambridge International Business English" (Student's Book). The units in this book are synchronized with those in the "Student's Book," making it convenient for students to consult and use. It is a reference book for candidates taking BEC2, teachers, and professionals in foreign-related commercial and trade fields. It includes "preview" sections for the listening part of the "Student's Book," annotations or translations of key texts, in-depth and easy-to-understand explanations of business content, and a wide variety of exercises to help learners master the material thoroughly. When compiling this manual, the following features were emphasized to facilitate self-study:
1. Detailed annotations and rich content. We strive to provide corresponding materials for difficulties and key points in the text (including vocabulary, grammar, related expressions, business and cultural background, etc.) to enable users to understand them comprehensively and appropriately.
2. Abundant and diverse exercises. Building on a comprehensive and appropriate understanding, we have designed targeted exercises to achieve the goal of mastery and application. Through a large number of purposeful and diverse exercises, self-learners can gradually become proficient and flexible in mastering the language knowledge and improving their language application skills.
3. Increased listening exercises to comprehensively enhance language skills. Self-study in foreign languages is primarily limited to reading and writing, but to provide learners with more opportunities to practice listening and speaking, we have not only increased the overall volume of exercises but also paid special attention to adding more listening exercises. We hope this will help everyone comprehensively improve their language application skills.
