Features: The Great Dictionary of Chinese Coins: Qin and Han Edition classifies and dates the Banliang and Wuzhu coins based on the excavation dates of the tombs and by incorporating a large number of coin molds. Using the typological method in archaeology, it accurately distinguishes between the Banliang coins of the Warring States period and the Banliang coins after the unification of China by Qin. It also establishes the early, middle, and late period standards for the Wuzhu coins of the various emperors of the Western Han and the Eastern Han. (Since the standardization of coin production in the Eastern Han was relatively high, the features of the coins did not change with the succession of emperors, so they could only be divided into periods). This work has basically resolved the issue of classifying and dating the Qin and Han coins, which is a major feature of this volume.
