Features: This textbook is compiled in accordance with the writing outline of the National Undergraduate Nursing Education Planning Textbook of the Ministry of Health, based on the training objectives of higher nursing education, and combined with the characteristics of nursing practice, highlighting the professional features of nursing. It has three main features: First, the content of the textbook adheres to the focus on serving students, enhancing students' interest in learning interpersonal communication courses through interactive methods such as teacher-led instruction, case analysis, and post-class practical activities, cultivating students' positive attitudes toward interpersonal communication, and improving their communication skills; Second, the structure and content of the textbook focus on serving teaching, with pre-chapter cases to help teachers introduce teaching content, in-chapter cases to inspire students to understand key points, and post-class case studies and reading reflections to encourage students to participate in teaching practice activities. For convenience in teaching, the textbook is divided into two parts: the Theoretical Part, which primarily elaborates on the theories of communication, interpersonal communication, interpersonal relationships, and nurse-patient relationships; and the Practical Part, which mainly introduces language communication, non-verbal communication, the art of communication in nursing practice, and other types of communication based on the characteristics of nursing work; Third, the ideological content of the textbook focuses on innovation, with the compilers incorporating the characteristics of new nurse-patient relationships under the market economy, cross-cultural nursing communication, and modern communication media and communication, reflecting innovative concepts and the spirit of keeping pace with the times in the textbook's writing.
