The specific section emphasizes the inclusion of elderly mental disorders, with key supplements on alcohol and drug dependence, suicide, child behavioral problems, and domestic violence. New additions include post-traumatic stress disorder and mental disorders caused by HIV/AIDS. The section on psychopharmacology reflects the latest advancements in psychopharmacology.
