Features: Since 1998, when the Ministry of Education began implementing the "College English Test for Non-English Majors (A, B Level Written Test)," more and more vocational colleges and students have recognized and participated in this exam. Currently, it has become one of the evaluation standards for the Ministry of Education to assess the teaching quality of vocational colleges. The purpose of this exam is to improve students' practical ability in using the English language. Therefore, whether in terms of exam content or question types, this exam differs greatly from other kinds of English exams. This exam consists of five parts: Part 1: Listening Comprehension (15%); Part 2: Vocabulary Usage and Grammar Structure (Only grammar structure for Level A) (15%); Part 3: Reading Comprehension (35%); Part 4: English-Chinese Translation (20%); Part 5: Writing (15%). To guide and help students become more familiar with this exam and achieve ideal results in the test, Professor Liu Ran of Shenyang Institute of Technology has edited the two books, "Training for College English Test for Non-English Majors (Level A)" and "Training for College English Test for Non-English Majors (Level B)." This book is based on the "Basic Requirements for College English Curriculum Teaching" and is strictly written according to the requirements of the "College English Test for Non-English Majors Syllabus." The teachers who participated in the writing have many years of experience in teaching English in vocational colleges and have a deep understanding and research of the "Basic Requirements" and the "Syllabus." During the writing process, we not only focused on the accuracy and practicality of the materials but also well-handled the difficulty level of each content, the coverage and accuracy of vocabulary and grammar items, which better reflects the essence of this exam. This book consists of 12 sets of mock tests, detailed answers, and listening text recordings. This book is accompanied by an audio tape recorded by foreign English teachers. There are still shortcomings in this book, and we sincerely welcome suggestions from teachers and students.
