Features: The objective of this textbook is to cultivate learners' comprehensive use of Japanese, laying a solid foundation for them to fully master the skills of listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translation, hence the name "Comprehensive Japanese." The dialogues in this textbook are closely related to learners' actual lives, striving for naturalness and liveliness. It not only emphasizes the mastery and application of Japanese knowledge but also focuses more on appropriate expressions in Japanese. In terms of scene design and content arrangement, it integrates the cultural connotations of both China and Japan, aiming to enrich learners with abundant cultural knowledge of China and Japan while studying Japanese and improving their skills, thereby enhancing cultural understanding and fostering cross-cultural communication skills. When compiling this textbook, attention was also paid to the significant differences between spoken and written Japanese. Efforts were made to enable learners to master the ability to use different registers. The textbook does not adopt the traditional Japanese teaching grammar system but, based on the common grammar systems used in Japanese teaching for foreigners in recent years, combined with the characteristics of Chinese learners of Japanese, it summarizes a more practical and scientific grammar system. Practice has proven that it is relatively easy for learners to accept.
