Chinese Language Common Topics ( The Miscellaneous Notes of the Unlate Studio )

Features: The title "Common Talk on Chinese Language" was chosen for these articles because their content is neither extraordinary nor profound, nor does their writing cite classical references, making it unworthy of names like "Introduction" or "Basics." "Common Talk" seems more appropriate. It is hoped that readers, when feeling tired of novels or TV shows, might pick up this book to switch their perspective, without gaining nothing from it. Some people argue that "Chinese language" lacks "culture," as did not understand what "grammar" was yet still wrote excellent articles. However, they cannot explain why some phrases are universally considered "correct" while others are deemed "incorrect," with at least part of the latter being due to violations of "grammar." Unfortunately, such opinions do not come from workers or peasants but from a segment of intellectuals. This indicates that knowledge about language and writing still needs to be popularized. This small book can be seen as a tiny attempt in this regard. The seven articles included in "Miscellaneous Notes from the Late Afternoon Studio" were originally published in "Reading." These reading notes-style articles were published under a column titled "Miscellaneous Notes from the Late Afternoon Studio." "Late afternoon" implies that it is already late. In traditional etymology, there is a concept called "antonymic interpretation," which is still studied by etymologists today.
