Features: Currently, the development of the world's high-tech industry is gradually emerging from a low point and entering a new period of rapid growth. Technological progress is advancing at an unprecedented pace, with information technology moving towards wireless, interconnected, and mobile directions. Biotechnology is entering the stage of large-scale industrialization, and the new technological revolution will undoubtedly drive the world's high-tech industry into a new phase that emphasizes collaboration among enterprises within the industry. At the same time, as governments around the world accelerate the rapid development of high-tech industries, they are strengthening strategic decision-making and macroeconomic regulation on one hand while also gradually relaxing economic controls and intensifying competition on the other. Although China's role and position in the global high-tech industry have become increasingly important in recent years, it is worth noting that as high-tech industry transfers become more deeply and broadly globalized, trade protectionism is gradually on the rise. Therefore, strategically grasping the new trends in the global economy and technological development, and further accelerating the growth of high-tech industries in line with the requirements of the 16th National Congress Plenum and the Central Committee's proposal for the 11th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development, has become an urgent requirement to address deep-seated issues in China's economic development, improve the overall quality and comprehensive strength of the national economy, achieve leapfrog development, and ensure that the Chinese nation remains invincible in the new century. This book is divided into seven main parts:
(1) Comprehensive Development: Reviews the development of China's high-tech industry during the "10th Five-Year Plan" period, introduces the development of China's high-tech industry, high-tech product imports and exports, and the development of national high-tech industrial parks in 2005, and analyzes the development of venture capital.

(3) Regional Development: Introduces the basic development, characteristics, and development ideas of high-tech industries in 37 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government), and planned cities during the "10th Five-Year Plan" period.
(4) Overseas Development: Introduces the development of the global electronics industry, global software industry, global renewable energy industry, and global high-tech industry, and excerpts reports such as the Silicon Valley Development Report of the United States, the U.S. Science and Technology Indicators (2004), the 2004 Global Pharmaceutical Industry Report, and the OECD Science and Technology and Industry Rankings (2005).
(5) Policies and Regulations: Collects policy and regulatory documents related to the development of high-tech industries issued by the State Council and various ministries and commissions in 2005.
