Features: Since the journal is titled Chinese Sociology, the authors are naturally native scholars and overseas Chinese scholars. The papers selected for the journal can be broadly categorized into three types: papers or translations that have already been published in Chinese academic journals; papers that have already been published in foreign academic journals; and unpublished papers. The journal particularly encourages research on Chinese society. Chinese Sociology is sponsored by the Institute of Sociology, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Except for the first two volumes, which were reviewed and approved by the Academic Committee of the Institute of Sociology and published within the year, the journal will be published annually thereafter and will adopt a double-blind peer review system to select papers.
