Features: To understand traditional culture, we must first grasp the academic thought of Confucianism. To discuss Confucian thought, we must first study the works of Confucius and Mencius. To understand Confucius's ideas and scholarship, we must first familiarize ourselves with the Analects. In light of modern global cultural trends, we must determine the path and direction our nation, country, and history should take. Therefore, if we can help those trapped in modern psychological maladies find solace beyond the words we speak and establish a steadfast life purpose and spirit that stands firm in adversity, that would be my earnest wish. The Analects, compiled by Confucius's disciples and later scholars, is an important Confucian classic that records the words and deeds of Confucius. This book primarily references and carefully examines the annotations of previous generations on the Analects, comparing and selecting the best interpretations. For sentences with conflicting views, we have also consulted relevant papers published after the liberation to choose the explanations we deem appropriate for annotation and translation. Each passage of the twenty chapters in the Analects is elaborately explained in this book. Not only does it include the original text, but it also provides vivid and concrete translations and annotations, making the content fresh, profound in meaning, and full of delightful insights!
